Animation
The visual concept for the animation stems from the purpose of Every: content covering productivity, strategy, leadership, and culture aimed at informing and inspiring readers. Therefore, Every Media transforms the reader via new knowledge or transports the reader to another world. Transformation and transportation became two potential directions for the animation. Below are the mood boards for each.

Below is the first character draft coined Doug. On the left is the concept of transformation; the content from Every Media is coming from the laptop and get's absorbed by Doug. On the right is the concept of transportation; the content transports Doug nto a different environemnt and space.
Through several iterations, Doug evolved from a dark blue to a neutral grey, aligning with the brand’s color palette. The laptop was swapped for an iPad, and a coffee cup was added to create a more relaxed, homey feel—evoking the ease of reading on a Sunday morning with a fresh cup of coffee.
The animation evolved through several iterations. Initially, the sequence focused on a single character reading in solitude, with background noise subtly moving in to set the scene. As the animation developed, colorful content elements began emerging from the character’s device, symbolizing the absorption of new information. These elements gradually expanded, surrounding the character and creating an immersive experience.

The animation was refined to introduce additional characters to emphasize the communal aspect of learning further. As the content colors grew and shaped, new figures appeared, each engaged with their own devices, representing shared knowledge. This transformation reinforced the concept that reading and learning are not isolated experiences but interconnected journeys that bring people together
